B-2 Bombers Return to U.S. After Striking Iran’s Nuclear Sites

In a bold and unprecedented move, B-2 Spirit stealth bombers have returned to Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, after executing precision strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. As part of “Operation Midnight Hammer,” the U.S. deployed seven B-2s to target Iran’s underground enrichment sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, dropping GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators.

Supported by over 140 aircraft and advanced electronic warfare systems, the bombers completed a 37-hour round trip without detection. The operation aimed to cripple Iran’s nuclear capabilities while avoiding civilian areas. Upon their return, the aircrews were welcomed with honors.

President Trump praised the mission, calling it “a job well done” and declaring “monumental damage” was inflicted. Iran has condemned the attack and vowed retaliation, raising concerns of further escalation.

This mission marks a powerful demonstration of American military reach and precision, with global leaders urging both nations to avoid deeper conflict.
